I am SO excited!!! Sunday morning brought about a very nice surprise for me!! After putting in more time than I ever responsibly should have, I won a ticket to BlissDom!!! MomGenerations generously held a giveaway of two tickets and I won their BlissDom Lotto!!
Ironically, I totally missed the Tweet that announced I had won. I just rechecked the website to see if the winner had been posted, and saw where Jessie, the other winner, had congratulated me! You better believe that sent me flying through Tweets to see for myself the announcement!!!
Oh, yes, the list making has begun. I *heart* Excel. It just makes me entirely too happy!
I am also super pumped about meeting the gals who generously offered to let me room with them. Paula of Boogers&Burps, Jody of Have Kids Will Travel, and Kara!!! Y'all...there from Iowa! I am thinking they might know what Real Snow is...I'll have to ask about that. I mean, there have been a few Southern Blizzards this year, but I heard that the snow we saw doesn't amount to a hill of beans compared to what our Northern friends experience regularly. Maybe I should ask those ladies to bring pictures...
I have had to pull myself up by the boot-straps several times in the last 24 hours and give myself a reminder that I can't completely put my life on hold while I research all the wonderful fun that BlissDom has to offer. It has been tough. But I head out Thursday!!!
AND!!! I was thrilled to find out the there will be several ladies who are doing the 90 Day Bible reading attending this blogging conference. In fact, there is a breakfast planned for Friday morning...guess where I will be??
This post would absolutely not be complete if I didn't thank my super-wonderful-and-great husband who patiently put in time to help me win and never batted an eye when he agreed to take the kids for the entire weekend so that I could go off and play with the Big Girls! Sweetheart, you rock! Y'all give him a bit shout-out, will ya?
Oh, goodness, I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited! All this and list making, too! What more could a girl ask for?
